Colored plate with blue sea wave and peony motif

Inquiry required

This piece is a modern reproduction of Nabeshima ware, a high-quality porcelain produced in kilns directly managed by the Nabeshima Domain (Saga Prefecture) from the 17th to 19th centuries. The patterns are layered on top of each other, resulting in a mixture of delicacy and ruggedness, which is perhaps the unique character of this plate. Both the Seigaiha pattern and the peony are representative patterns of Japanese pottery, so we hope you will enjoy them.
